Barnstar events is a gorgeous historic barn set on 120 private acres in Whatcom County. Once owned by a Swiss family, it was converted into an expansive space with soaring ceilings and a chic, rustic and elegant feel.

Dress Code

Wear what works for you

Wear what makes you feel good! We're easy. If you need more guidance, think "rustic chic". Remember that it is July, in the day, on a farm with nice, clean portable toilets. You want to be cool and comfortable with shoes that allow you to walk the grounds, play games, and dance.

For the health and comfort of all guests we ask that people be vaccinated and take a self-test the day of the wedding (Children based on availability and options within a country).

Venue requirements for masks etc. will be updated closer to the event.

Transportation: Only with a car. Uber or Lyft are available in the area. We can also investigate ride shares.

Parking: Available on premise.

Bathrooms: Really nice portable toilets. We're in a field, after all. ;)

Option for Wedding Weekend

We have a hold on rooms with two local hotels 28-31 July. Check the box on the RSVP form if you're interested in one.

They must be reserved by April 2022.
